In the beginning of 2022, God had placed it in my heart to fast and pray for my husband. I was not at all interested in starting a relationship but I knew I had to start interceding for him wherever God had him. I was in my last semester at my University and that summer as part of my graduation gift I went to Oregon with my brother Carlos and Sarita.

That summer in July, I spent a week in Orgeon at camp and loved every moment. The beautiful state captured my heart but also that camp the Lord spoke to me so powerfully and clearly. I was entering a new season and I could feel it.

At that camp I helped in the praise team and didn't even realize that my friends and I were passing right by Darricks car as he took the speakers to the airport and back. I still tell him to this day how crazy it was that I was right in front of his car all night and even then we did not meet. Gods timing is a funny thing at times.

After summer camp, I got a friend request on the Bible app. Mind you, I only had my close friends on there or people I know. But here comes this Oregon boy with a request. He was wearing an Apostolic pin on his suit and I honestly did not think much in accepting. As we connected on there I could see his thoughts and highlights. At times we were reading the same thing and I thought he was doing it on purpose but there was no way he could see what chapter I was on, on my ACTUAL bible! I began to joke with my friends that I had a bible app crush but there was no way I would ever meet him or even knew of him.

In October of 2022, I was invited to my friend's wedding up in Prescott, Arizona. My sister, myself, and my friend Adi made it a girls trip and drove there. We were a bit late but we made it! The most handsome groomsmen was standing tall in the front. He seemed so familiar. It wasn't until after the ceremony that he approached me and asked "Are you my bible app friend"? I was in complete shock but we officially met in person, and I can now say ... I fell in love with my bible app friend!
